Garden Spaghetti and Meatballs

  This seasonal recipe for Spaghetti and Meatballs uses up a zucchini, and 4 whole tomatoes! If you wanted to use up another zucchini, you could just chop it up and add it to the sauce. Hiding vegetables in spaghetti sauce is one of my favorite tricks. Full disclosure: I got the idea of cooking the tomato sauce with onion and butter from a recipe that I found years ago in Bon Appetit magazine. It was so delicious, I've been doing it ever since. This recipe will not disappoint.
