Butternut Scones

 This scone recipe is based off of a recipe for standard scones that my mom used to make in my childhood. I changed a few of the ingredients to allow for the added moisture from the butternut puree, and to add some extra pizzazz. They are wonderfully moist and satisfying, and so easy to make! If you want something a little extra special for breakfast on the weekend, but don't want to spend all that time on it, these are the perfect solution. "Breakfast for dinner" is pretty popular in my house, so we eat them anytime of the day.
